Welcome to our Tap List
You might be asking yourself, so what am I looking at here? Here’s a quick explanation. On the left hand is a selection of all of our offerings. Next, you will find;
The name of the brewer
The name of the offering
Where is the brewer from
The percent of alcohol in each beer
And finally, the IBU
What is IBU, you ask? First, IBU stands for “International Bitterness Unit” or “International Bittering Unit,” depending on who you ask. In other words, it is a measurement of the bitterness of a beer – it can be used for other foods and beverages, but we’re only worried about beer today.
OK, now look to your right; you’ll see a color-coded keg (barrel) representing the amount of beer in the keg. As the servings of beer from each keg are poured, the level in the keg goes down and is represented in a display of different colors.
Below we explain the color legend:
Dark Green = Just Tapped
Lime/Lt Green = Beers Have Been Served
Yellow = Keg 1/2 Gone, Better Order One Soon
Orange = Keg is 3/4 Gone, OK Order Now, Just Saying
Red = Better Hurry, Keg is Almost Empty, Don’t Snooze and Lose
We hope this gives you some insight into how our Tap List works and provides insight into your selection process to help match beers to your palette.
Finally, here’s to you, our valued guest; we hope you enjoyed your visit; please come back soon.
Cheers!
